Tekton Loncin (196cc) mower and mulcher

The set consists of the Tekton driving unit and 2 adaptors (an one-drum mower with operating width 60 cm and a stainless mulcher with operating width 55 cm).

The driving unit with 2 forward speeds is equipped with a proven reliable engine and its control is so intuitive. The big advantage is an axle with characteristic of a differential where the both wheels are lockable at once. It is so easy to turn the machine during operation but when it is in traction it goes just straight. The machine is fitted with the big blown wheels with a diameter of 40 cm. The V-shaped tread pattern works very well and easily despite a surface roughness. The handlebars are height adjustable. While mowing under the trees it is possible to control the handlebars by one hand and walk next to the mower out of the trees which is impossible with mowers with standard handlebars. To rebuild the mower into mulcher is necessary to loosen one bolt which hold the mowing disc. Now fix the mulcher by 3 bolts instead. It all takes 15 minut.

There are standardly 2 blades on the mower fitted but there are holes for 4 blades on the mowing disc. The two blades are suitable for those who mow the grass for animal feed. The grass is mowed gently as by a scythe. The users can fix 4 blades in case they compost the grass or maintain land with high and thick cover. The area around the holes for blades is reinforced by special washers welded on. A plate under the disc is pivoting and covers the disc up to half of its diameter in order not to remain too long stubble on uneven terrain. But it is also possible to purchase a bigger pivoting steel plate which covers almost all disc from the bottom.   

The mulcher with stainless cover has a central stubble height adjustment from 4 to 10 cm. The grass is mulched by a special mulching blade.

The mowing cover complies with the latest safety standard CSN EN 12733, according to which a solid barrier must be 20 cm away from the blade path and the possibility of stones being thrown to all sides must be significantly reduced. The cover is made of two parts, the upper base cover is made of stainless steel. This cover is included in the basic price of the machine.

The cutting disc is covered from below by a swivel plate with a smaller diameter than the cutting disc. This solution is advantageous for  grass lying on the ground.
